'What has writing ever done for us?' by Jeni Smith and Simon Wrigley.
NATE Journal, English in Education. Spring 2011
This paper looked at the history of teachers' writing groups:
- how they developed a dynamic,
- teachers' writing journeys,
- explorations of the 'affordances' of writing and its processes,
- how teachers reflected on their experiences - particularly the issues of ownership, authority and authenticity - in order to transform elements of their own classroom practice.
