Year 2 writers
Year 2 writer: Priya P
Sometimes I go to my grandad's house in India. It is a very significant place for me because my parents originated there. I always look forward to going there because I like my grandad's garden. It has a thin winding path with green beans and chillies all around you including hanging on the ceiling. At the end of the path is a wide clearing with a mango tree that's so tall it looks like it's higher than the clouds. the only people who are there usually are me and my sister. We play funny games. There are two reasons I go to the garden and the first one is because my grandad asks me to pick mangoes. The second one is because it makes me feel happy.
